Just wanted to remind folks to check their camera bags / backpack for first aid supplies. It's something thats easy to forget about until you REALLY need it. We had an injury this weekend and thank goodness we had some supplies on hand. I suggest bandaids and motrin at an absolute minimum.

What do you keep in your backpack?

Good reminder Tara! I carry a large well stocked first aid kit in my car but not in my camera backpack. I suppose I should come up with a small one for my camera back pack.

You're not a serious photographer unless you bleed for your craft! Seriously I usually always carry a flashlight and try to wear hiking boots, oh and a compass and knife and lighter. And sometimes a snakebite kit. More survival then first aid although I will consider carrying a few small first aid items.

Camera, lens, grey card, flash, screwdriver, hankerchief (sp?).
I find that the more stuff i carry, the more of a pain it is to go out shooting.

I like Ben's answer...lol.....although I never thought of putting any kind of first aid kit in my backpack. The only thing I have along those lines are my med's for a migraine....and some kleenex..lol I have allergies.
But it now has me thinking about putting maybe a bandaid in there or something along that line. If I put to much stuff in my backpack...it'll get heavy then I'll get annoyed that I have too much stuff in there..........and it'll be just like my purse..lol!! One thing leads to the next...then you end up with everything including the kitchen sink.....lol
