I have this flash and was wondering what I need to get it off the camera and use it as a backdrop light or for whatever I choose...so I know I need a wireless remote, and can I do this with this flash? or does it have to be a 530 flash? help please.
Hi Sherry I don't have the same flash as you do but from what I am reading yes you can use it off camera with a remote. Here is a link with some tutorials for flash http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=138907 This is on a Canon forum. It looks like a lot of information and is very interesting to me. I am at work now so I didn't read the tutorials but thought this might give you a starting point.
