The club will conducting a macro photography workshop on Feb 24th as a follow-up to the macro presentation of Feb 10th. The workshop will provide members with the opportunity to gain experience with shooting macro images with a variety of equipment including lens reversal mounts, closeup Lens, extension tubes, and macro lens. The equipment available will mainly support Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras. However, some equipment such as closeup lens and focusing rails can be used with other type cameras. Various macro subjects will be available including matchbox cars, Lego scenes, coins and flowers.
A computer with photoshop installed will be available so that members can try their hand at focus stacking.
Member attending the workshop should bring their camera as well as other equipment that support macro photography such as tripods, remote shutter releases, dedicated flashes and macro lens. In addition, members should also bring interesting small objects to serve as macro photography subjects.
