Our next CCClub ” MEMBER’S ONLY ” field trip. Members are invited to be at the garden center at 7:00 AM before it opens to the public to shoot some flowers. This annual event is a lot of fun, and makes for good practice in a controlled environment.

♦ Members will share their images with the audience in the form of a “slideshow” that can be up to five minutes long. One of our favorite meetings!
A slideshow set to music will display the member-submitted entries. Following the show, the three top images in each category (Novice, Regular, and Master) will be revealed, along with the most favorite images as selected by the members.
Four CCC members will give presentations on lenses, macro lenses, drone photography, and compact light diffusion boxes and lights. Members, divided into four groups, will attend each presentation for 15-20 minutes, with time for Q&A. Presenters will be Helga Skinner, Bill Miller, Steven Kuss and Walt Carlson.
Our presentations will included the price of the equipment and examples of photography they have taken using the equipment. We will allow plenty of time for questions and answers.

David Johnston loves being a photographer, but he loves teaching others ab
out it just as much.
Johnston realized how much he enjoyed photography in college. When the geography major went hiking for school labs, he remembers “I was always the last to get to the end of the hike because I stopped to take a lot of photos.”

You go to the store and notice the candles in the home furnishings department. After looking a bit, you choose the one you just know will make your home smell warm and inviting. You know because you look at the label and see the picture of the vanilla beans.
Most of us never think about who took the photo that made you choose that product. Ron Baker does. As a commercial photographer it’s his job to show a product or a business and its personnel in the best light.

There will not be a meeting Monday night because the Church is finishing a childrens play ground project and they will be needing the dinning area for workers.
