For the July contest, the challenge is to look at the world from a different angle — down low.

The From the Ground Up theme encourages you to capture images from a low viewpoint, creating a unique perspective that you may not normally notice when standing at eye level. Get down close to the ground and explore how changing your angle can dramatically impact composition, scale, mood, and storytelling.

This theme is all about perspective and creativity. The subject itself can be almost anything — people, pets, nature, flowers, architecture, vehicles, wildlife, objects, or everyday scenes — as long as the image clearly embraces a low-angle “ground-up” viewpoint.

Location of the meeting is Cookeville Art Studio and Gallery at 186 S Walnut Ave, Ste a, Cookeville, TN 38501. Meeting starts at 7pm – Doors open at 6:45pm.
