MONDAY, APRIL 9 — SPEAKERS: CCC MEMBERS ROLAND PEARSON AND WALT CARLSON

Following the contest & exhibition slideshows, Cookeville Camera Club members Roland Pearson and Walt Carlson will give a presentation on Focus Stacking.

Focus stacking is the process of taking multiple images, each a different focus point and using software to merge them into a single image. The presentation discusses the advantages of focus stacking in macro photography to obtain improved depth of field, sharper image and better bokeh control (out of focus areas). It covers: 1) the theory of focus stacking, 2) equipment needed, 3) methods of taking the image set and 4) steps in Adobe Photoshop to in process the image.

The Cookeville Camera Club meets at the First Presbyterian Church in Cookeville.  Visitors are always welcome.  Join us for an entertaining and  informative evening, and learn how to make images like this beautiful Hibiscus.
