Club member volunteers will once again manage the Fair’s Photography contest. Club members will be accepting and checking in entries from the public for the Putnam County Fair’s photography contest on Saturday, August 5 from 8 am to 12 noon. There are 18 classes available for amateur photographers to enter, and 3 classes for professionals.  Club members may only enter the professional classes. The Fair has published rules for photographic entries, and the rules can be found in the Fair Book (hard copy) or online here.  Scroll down, and see page 1 for general rules and page 7 for Department 6 (Photography) specifics.  Judging will take place this day.

During the remainder of Fair Week, volunteer club members will be on hand in the Photography Contest area under the South Grandstand to answer questions from the public and provide helpful tips on making better images.
